The wearable devices, those technological trinkets we love to bring with us, provide us with valuable information thanks to the numerous integrated sensors, whether smartwatches or fitness trackers. But, have you ever wondered what it takes to make it work? That is, they have to stick their noses in all the useful and fundamental elements of your phone in this way they are collected an abnormal number of information and you are (in)aware, because then you can not enjoy your little watch, the victim of an abnormal exposure of your data in the cloud of the device you love so much!
Often, out of laziness, the possibility of adopting privacy-respecting and tracker-free applications is overlooked. The goal is to get rid of the pre-installed system apps and those downloaded from the Google Play Store. A first concrete step is to gradually replace the applications, retrieving them from F-Droid and then taking the big step towards true digital freedom through a gradual process of degooglization.

Why use it
